Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest (by a large margin) in the Solar System. It is 2.5 times more massive than all the other planets in the Solar System combined—so massive that its barycenter with the Sun lies above the surface of the Sun (1.068 solar radii from the center of the star). The average distance between Jupiter and the Sun is 778,000,000 km (about 5.2 times the average distance between Earth and the Sun, or 5.2 AU), with the planet completing one complete orbit around the star in 11.86 years. It rules wealth, leisure, big business, higher consciousness, optimism, stature, growth, morality, prosperity and contentment. Also higher education, philosophical judgments, aspirations, sports, luck, long journeys, hunting, and the love of animals. Jupiter is a judge, lawgiver, and patron.
